Got the bluing done today. Came out ok, the frame could still use a few more boils but its pretty darn close and Im tired. Went ahead and wraped it up. Got oil on them for the night.

If I decide I cant live with the slight color diff between the frame and slide I can always degrease it and keep going. Took several pics of the process that Ill download to the computer tomorrow and update the thread.
Then it will be staking the front sight, basic trigger work, and off to the range!

No problem,
Ill do a detailed thread just about hand checkering the front strap on my Colt in a few weeks.
Gotta get some different blast media to try and match the agressive finish of the Stainless Rail Gun.
