Raised Garden Bed

Thank you, usually for my calcium deficiencies, I have lots of egg shells and crumble them up, put them in a blender and sprinkle in holes when planting. It works pretty well as a powder.

If you use HORTICULTURAL lime when you plant, you won't ever have blossom end rot. Not AG lime or pellitized lime. It's the same thing as builder's lime if you need 50 lbs.

Anyone here created a raised garden bed? The wife wants one in the backyard, so I figured I would see what others have done. I know I could slap 4 2x10’s together, but I’m sure there are other creative options.

Any lessons learned? I read on one site not to make them wider than 3 feet to reach everything.
I started mines 2 months ago and didnt realize how huge everything would get . It was a trial and error experience for me but i would recommend spacing the plants out well enough. plus plenty of sunlight .
