Paranoid gun owners

Actually it is true.

Someone proposes or offers or submits a gun control law every congress. An assault weapon ban has been offered every congress since the last AWB expired.

Care to explain how much movement there was on those gun control laws in 2006? How about 2008? I do not recall an AWB passing in 2010, do you?

Point of fact sometime during the last presidents rule a bill was passed to allow carry in federal parks. This law was signed by President Obama when it was attached to some bill he wanted.

Some people use these truths for their purposes. YOU can claim what you like but when YOU post stuff like this YOU are part of the problem. YOU of all people should go find the truth or keep your mouth shut and enjoy the increased business.

I think it makes people in the gun industry celebrate.

I don't see how. Any hefty profits would be short-lived. Once product runs out, then many will go out of business and essentially lose their way of life. I for one am glad I don't depend on this business to support my family.

I am definitely not an advocate for gun control and don't see dollar signs from this. I am a citizen and firearms owner myself and don't care to see me rights trampled on by an ever growing government.

This truly sickens me.

Are doing far more damage in regards to one's ability to obtain firearms and ammunition, than Obama ever could do.

Thanks for causing ammo shortages and gun price hikes, jackholes.

Correct me if I am wrong but we live in a fre market society...People are free to charge whatever they want as long as they pay it. (Not that I agree with a 1000$ WASR)

With that said I disagree with you, these people are buying up everything they can BECAUSE of fear...they don't know what is coming and are afraid. Who are we (Past & Present Gun Owners) to dictate how much they pay for something that makes them feel safe? Sure some are purchasing weapons to resale for a profit...but they are free to do that. If I had not made preparations in advance I would be in the same boat trying to gain access to materials to protect myself and family with (and paying outrageous prices to boot). Anyone in the gun community knew this was coming....If they didn't then they need to pay more attention to the details.

From your link:
The measure was written by Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who was behind the original 1994 assault-weapons ban which expired in 2004. It marks the first major legislative step since President Obama, in the wake of the Newtown school shooting, called for new gun control measures including a new and stronger assault-weapons ban.

I'll be honest.

I do not for one second believe that this idiot Feinstein chick could ever get the full support of the House to pass her agenda. I doubt that she has the votes in the U.S. Senate.

We should spend more time supporting our Georgia U.S. Senators and Representatives. We should support our Georgia Senators and Representatives. I vote at the ballot box and with my wallet.

There is a threat from democratic liberalism. You are with Pelosi or against her type of government controlled liberalism.

The form of capitalism we have chosen to love (the ****tiest IMO) is all about the short term. When you have a system based on debt very few businesses look past their next deposit from the CC companies.

I am not so sure that this is capitalism or socialism.

I feel it when going grocery shopping. I am the only one that pays for food. Most people pay with food stamps in Fulton County.

Then you follow them out to the parking lot, and they have a nice BMW. They live in government subsidized nice apartment housing off Roswell RD.
