I was able to scrounge up some info on my old computer before it died and took the web pages I bookmarked. I haven't looked in awhile since it isn't easy to weed through all the pages to find. I never actually read deep into the Savage 1899 or 99, only bits when I found a model I was looking to buy.

I may end up buying a book on it one day if anyone had published one. Documentation on serial numbers weren't preserved like other manufacturers.

Probably my 1918 luger. Might have something else older though. The vast majority of my guns are older than me.
