About a 120# Marlin out of Cabo... no pic. There's a LARGE gap between that and my next biggest fish which I'm not even sure what it would be. Probably about a 34" trout (spec) in Florida.

That is a big ass spec!!!

my biggest a 14# large mouth private lake near Tallahassee FL,

rainbow trout: 4.5#
brown trout: 3#
largemouth: 7.8#
catfish(flathead): 37#


my best big fish was a 17# flathead. I was using my ultra light rod with 4# line and a #8 Aberdeen hook catching bream for bait. the 17# flathead decided he needed the bream I had barely lip hooked more than me. somehow I managed to set the hook in the flathead well enough to hold. and loosened the drag almost to the point of the spool flying off. took an hour and 15 minutes and me circling the medium sized pond 3 times but I got him in a net!
