My 1911 CCO build progression - Build #2!!

I have bought several Fusion triggers and every one had to be cut down to fit, how are you removing the metal?
My question is if you are doing it like with a file, how can you assure that the trigger bow slot and the top and bottom edges are perpendicular?
Just curious, I had a tough time installing Fusions parts.

I'm not using a Fusion trigger, only thing Fusion is the frame/slide.

Yes everything is done with a file. I've never seen a trigger bow that had to be 'shortened' in that regards though. The trigger itself must be filed on the top and bottom to fit in the frame properly but have never seen a bow need work other than shaped.

Started the Cerakote process today. Cleaned and sand blasted the top half, everything I'll be doing black. They are in the oven pre-baking to make sure all the grease and gunk is off. Soon as they are done I'll spray them black and then they'll bake for another 2hr!! Hopefully everything will be painted today for final assembly tomorrow.
