My 1911 CCO build progression - Build #2!!

Nice. I've been thinking about getting a set of VZ 320s.

Yeah I might go with those ones also. Not sure yet. The Operators II are what's on my Gov that I linked to in the original post. Whatever I decide they for sure will be 'slim line'. I don't want as aggressive on these ones though.

Over the past few days I received my springs so I was able to work on my ignition setup. Everything is coming along nicely.

Installed into the frame for some more engagement testing

Not sure how good you guys can see this but I was trying to show off the even sear to hammer engagement. I do this via Dykem Blue!

Well I ended up forgetting about time and kept working today! Firing pin stop is on as is the extractor! I'll tune the extractor once everything is together.

After much filing I was finally able to get the 3 (slide, fps, extractor) to play nicely together.

That's probably all for today. Hopefully more over the next few days as well!

I'l have to get the pictures uploaded tomorrow so just text for now

Today I was able to finish the firing pin stop so that the slide fits on the frame. I also fit the thumb safety.

The thumb safety kicked my butt. These things always take me longer than expected, I guess it's expected but haha! It's not 100% done yet but it's fully functioning. I might adjust the tension via the spring but not sure yet.

Placing one of my last parts orders tomorrow which should give me everything needed to go shoot it next week!!

Tomorrow I plan to fit the ejector.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Your last one made me fall for the grey coating. It really spoke to me.
