My 1911 CCO build progression - Build #2!!

Ok back to finishing this thing! So far I have put about 250-300 rounds of factory and reloaded ammo through her with no issues!

The next photos show where I have started to work on the feel and looks of the pistol. Cerakote hopefully soon!

The only thing I have left to order is the front sight. The one I had on was just a solid black one to test and get the correct height.

No sharp lines please!

Get flush!

Removing the big jump between the base of the safety and the thumb part. Like it to look like one instead of one piece stuck onto the other.

Again just smoothing lines.

And there will be no price on a gun like that. I hope to do that one day....(well guess there is a price for everything) lol

I'll gladly put a price on it if you'd like to buy it, hehe. Probably be more inclined to sell the Gov I built though. Can't wait to carry this daily!

Oh and.....

Obviously I need to clean things up some so there are no file marks but other than that my only plans are to flush and angle the end of the barrel. Here she is assembled!

Wow so it's been a long time since I worked/posted pictures of this one. Tonight I flushed and 45'd the end of the barrel. Need to just smooth out the front markings on the barrel and it'll be done. Just needs paint and the final front sight after that. I've been carrying here for a few months now. Probably 500 rounds and not 1 failure.

This one will probably be tossed up for sale as soon as the paint is done. Unless someone want's to buy it before the Cerakote.

I have bought several Fusion triggers and every one had to be cut down to fit, how are you removing the metal?
My question is if you are doing it like with a file, how can you assure that the trigger bow slot and the top and bottom edges are perpendicular?
Just curious, I had a tough time installing Fusions parts.
