There's a damn fine weapon. like I said I have owned five including a TRP 10mm Long slide and every one was exceptíonally made. I never had one malfunction out of any of the Springfield made 1911's. Every one had a perfect trigger out of the box. More gun for the money can't be had.

Compared to an old original 1911, it's lighter holds more rounds, it's easier to maintain, and it's less finicky about ammo.

If you want to be unique and like moon clip fed revolvers while owning a cool piece of history, I'd get a Colt or S&W M1917. Yes it would be an old gun , but with moon clips it's fast and be something not everyone has.
