The outrageous priced items.


If this was your site, what changes would you make?
or would you let it run its coarse?

remember, you gotta be the peace keeper to try and keep the masses happy.

It wouldnt matter, I would do like you and start an alternative account to price gouge.

Threads started about prices, bills of sale, or "the way things used to be" would earn an infraction.

Anyone using the terms "gouging," "supply and demand," "craigslisters," or "newb" would immediately incur Dunce Hat status.

Complaining about complaining would also catch an infraction.

what about banning the guys who show up
and the first post it an obvious price gouge.

Would it get rid of folks multipul accounts?

Would it show everyone not do it anymore?

would it show all that complain about it that something is being done?

Id allow flagging for crazy pricing, that didnt delete it, just moved it to a subforum, with a petition process to move it back.
Over MSRP could be the name of it. You can still buy over MSRP stuff if you want to panic purchase, the rest of us just wouldnt have to look at it.
some care for not flagging +extras as over msrp would have to be instituted. flagging by X people would put the thread up for admin viewing, which could them move it down.
and make it a forum rule that over msrp should be posted in the "hard to find" listing area first. repeat offenders of over msrp pricing in the regular area would be warned.
guns no longer in production would be exempt from over msrp, as their values have indeed increased to over msrp.

If an item is marked gone, id have it auto shift to a subforum so that we dont have to filter through done deals.(but could still search them)
