Been a few times where a trade offer came in on my For Sale item that appealed to me and I ended up doing the trade.
And just yesterday I traded with a Seller that had his item listed as sale only.

Lighten up!!!

A trade offer on a FS only item doesn't bother me, like already said it only takes a second to respond no thanks. Now when they ask you a million questions first and negotiate a potential meet then come to find out they don't have all the cash but they can trade you a .40 Taurus to make up the difference that really pisses me off.

I don't get angry, I usually respond with yes I will take your very rare glock 19 plus $5 less than my asking price. They normally don't respond back and this makes me smile. If they respond back with an angry message this makes me laugh. Either way I am happy.

Price your items to sell and they will. Price them at retail and they will sit around attracting trade offers.
