I'm surprised they have marks on them.Most of the ones I see fur cell on here are lnitb so i'm sure they have never been dismantled.Like new guns,no box or doc's,COME ON MAN.Its ok, you're in a safe place.

Unless it's a Wilson Combat 1911 (yup it was me).To me an idiot scratch on a 1911 is like a dent on a hammer.

If it is stainless, you can gently sand it with fine sandpaper. Hides the mark but leaves a shiny spot.How do you fix them? guess I could try to google search it out, but just asking. they still bug me and I wish I could make it go away.
