You found a video of some guy shooting what I can only assume is a handload - and the he only shoots five rounds? Point taken....I guess. Plus it's an AR-10, not AR-15.

To be fair inhandloads the 6.8 and 7.62x39 can replicate most of the properties of 300blk and even beat it out in certain areas. Apparently the 308 can too, but I'm wondering what was involved in terms of adjustable gas blocks, buffer springs, etc..
I should have said AR15/M16 platform rifle instead of semi automatic.
Good ole Silvers even put 300blk into an AK, but he said it was not hearing safe with subs due to the gas port.
