i have a cobra .32 derringer and it seems to have a little more looseness when locked in firing position than i would like, is there any remedy for this condition except buying a new barrel ? thanks bill timmerman

About the only thing you may be able to do is shim it at the hinge if it's loose there. In the rear area, dont know what you can do. Those types of guns usually are made of pot metal so welding on it is out of the question. Pretty much made as a throw away gun unfortunately.

thanks everybody i think i have it figured out , the locking lug on the bottom of the barrel has some wear where the lock pivots against it , i think that if i take a dab of j-b weld and apply it to the lug then take a dremel tool and very carefully remove the excess it will tighten it up , when i finish the repair i will let everybody know how it turns out, i have seen j-b weld do miracles
