( HOW DO YOU)Boresighting , Scope Sighting In

I don't have a boresighter i usually pull my bolt out , place rifle on or in something sturdy. I get the rifle bore fixed on an object (Where rifle won't move)it's usually a light switch inside the house 50-60 feet away then, i adjust my scope to hit the light switch! How do some of you get on paper without boresighters , when you get a new rifle. I"m going 300win mag this year and really don't wanna shoot no more than i have to.

25 yds and adjust scope to target.You need to shoot as much as possible with any gun you want to be accurate with,100's of rounds.

After I bore site this way then I go out and shoot one round at 50yards with my rifle locked in a gun vise. Then I adjust the crosshairs over that round. That should put you dead on. You may have to make a few minor adjustments but it will be very little. I always sight mine in at 1" high at 100 yards.

Thats the way ive always done it....usualy use a street light for longer distance, or a candle for in side and use the flame as target.
