Any fellow Georgia residents catching anything to speak of last couple weeks? If so, what species and what rig and lure/bait did you use? 6" June bug lizard on a Carolina rig and weightless albino fluke is the only thing I can get a bite on lately.

Two weeks ago I caught some on shaky head with trick worm. I think the color is called moondust
Have to go super early. Gets hot too fast this time of year.

Caught a pretty good bass on a frog in some lilly pads about a week ago. Best fish ive caught in a while.
When it gets up into August, and September my fishing is over till the water cools off some. I prefer winter fishing vs summertime anyways.
We’ve done really well at Carter’s Rereg with a black and red magnum lizard on a Texas rig right before dark and as soon as the sun goes down, top water buzzbaits and whopper plopper rule the land! Too hot to fish during the day right now but the night bite is alive I assure
