Hornady doesn’t think titegroup is optimal for their bullets. Doesn’t mean it won’t work. Just better powders for 124gr 9mm. If you aren’t concerned with max velocity it should work well for you.

I think if is spent the extra $$$ for Hornady XTP...i would use a different $$$$ powder.

I do berry's 115gr or 124gr LRN with titegroup as my economical goto. If I stepped into a higher end projectile, i might use WSF, VV, or HS6.

then again...i do more range target practice than high end loads...
 
I got turned on to Universal, and really like it. Had been a Titegroup before.

As all said, start at bottom and work up. I have found best accuracy at standard (up to 35 yds) distances are best with just a tad above cycling velocities.
 
well i guess im gonna start low and latter up. Im being told to watch for pressure signs.

my next question is: what would be signs of too much pressure? bulging/splitting cases?
