I had zero idea what your 30 days meant, other than to think you were talking about the Weapons License.

Actually you have 60 days for a DL.

Glad I saw this. Was about to renew my GFL but was planning on moving within the next 5 years and wasn't sure if I'd have to get a new one when I moved.

I was told recently that if you move to an address in the same county then you don't have to change address on permit but if moving out of county you have to pay to get new carry permit with updated address($5). Just what I was told.....

You were told wrong.....call the probate office if you really want to know. I moved from Douglas county to Bartow County, called the probate office and they told me no changes needed.
