I shouldn't say I don't know anyone I can trust. I have some close friends that I would trust with anything, but only one of them is like minded as me in this arena. Of course, my family I trust. I guess I just don't know alot of like minded folks that I could ban together with. most of my friends wouldn't have a clue what to do if the shtf. they would probably show up at my doorstep asking to borrow a gun.

if i dont know you and trust you now before the shtf i damn sure wont after....
banding together is good and bad. just depends on the caliber of people. i have already been in situations where people ive known and trusted for years have taken from me during non shtf times. makes it hard to trust anyone outside of my family. i think my neighbors would probably be better comrades due to the fact that they have a vested interest in protecting their places...
