I remember my pop using a hogs head in the stew, they cooked in a huge iron pot..... Dang was it ever good !!!!

This is what my stove will look like tomorrow

I grind the meat ,corn,maters & onions .Add them to some broth from where the meat that was cooked .

Then add the salt & pepper ,Ketchup,mustard,hot sauce,woo woo sauce, vinegar,

I also add a little sugar as the last ingredient after its cooked a while .

I like it coarse. Have had some before you could drink with a straw. I like mine thick and coarse and able to dredge it up with some saltines. I just whacked a fat groundhog on Saturday. I may make some Brunswick with it.

Real Brunswick Stew should be made from any available roadkill. Throw in a groundhog, a rabbit, a coon, a possum and throw in a skunk for flavoring. Add a little water and simmer until the meat falls off the bones.

I was gonna crockpot mine and then shred the meat and then let simmer with the rest of the added ingredients till just right.
