on day 1, if your bank account/electronic american dollars are gone,and you need to buy groceries, gas, anything from amazon, etc, bitcoin is going to be the only acceptable way to do business. Because It already is used for these things. good luck trying to buy groceries with a silver coin for anything besides face value. It didnt work in 2008/9.

google "who takes bitcoin" and you will see a massive list. even mapping apps that let you find places around you.
