In seriousness, I have a mini-Infidel and the coating feels similar to the coating of a BCG and isn't glossy at all. I really don't carry it, so I have no idea how it will wear.

Yes, mine feels like that. Sort of that gritty/chalky phosphate feeling on a BCG is how I best describe it. It's such that if you rub your finger on it it somewhat changes the color. I wouldn't worry about it, but I do like my stuff to stay nice looking. However, it will make you look Operator as **** with that thing all beat up looking.
