Anybody have a wife that hunts deer with them?

Ok...my wife wants to hunt with me some this year but the only rifle I have is a 30-06. She is small framed and I don't want to let her shoot it and it kick the hell out of her lol. I'm currently working on getting a .243 for her to shoot because I think that would be a good fit for her. So it sounds like I've already got it all figured out. But...my question is...does anyone have a wife/girlfriend/significant other that shoots a .243? And what do they think about it?

My wife and 15 year old daughter both hunt with me from time to time. Both use a Marlin 30/30 but I do have my sons 243 listed here if your interested.

Mine does, she's like 135-140lbs.
308, 30-06,slug gun, the AR. Its all good in the woods.
