Any reduced recoil load data for 35 or 45/70 contender

In my Super 14 .35 Remington barrel, I was shooting a 190gr. gas check flat nose cast bullet over 8-10gr. Unique. Mild and fun.

I have reloaded for my contender 35 barrel, usually 180gr sp bullets but not really reduced loads. I can check to see what the loads were if you are interested.

I have reloaded for my contender 35 barrel, usually 180gr sp bullets but not really reduced loads. I can check to see what the loads were if you are interested.

Interested please let me know as I have 180 jacketed soft points .

My Marlin 35 Remington 20inch barrel loads:

41.0 Varget, Speer 180 at 2140fps, using rifle primers.
32.5 Reloader #7, Speer 180 at 2150fps, using rifle primers.
18.9 2400, with a Matt’s Bullets cast Gas Checked 205 at 1611fps, using Wolf pistol Primers.

These all shoot well. The Varget load is the best in my rifle, but I think the other two loads might be better in the short contender barrel.

In my 45/70 use 37 gr of 3031 under a 300gr cast , usually shooting a 180 grain flat point in my 35.
