guys keep in mind the colder weather is upon us.
so outside worm bins need extra attention.
watch for moisture levels to rise in the dirt since
the heat of the summer isnt helping evaporate
the extra moisture. your dirt will turn to mud real
fast if not careful. its a great time to add husks to your worm
bin. keep your egg cartons close by and mix them in as you
see your dirt getting to moist. so be extra careful when your feeding
juicy bits like apples, tomatoes, and so on.
i usually switch to things like fresh brussel sprouts and leaf material
for the cold months. very low water content and they love it.
