Any night crawler / red wriggler farmers on the ODT?

That's a bit odd. They normally don't travel much and go straight in the ground to pupate. I have three in the backyard at the house (countless ones around the pond at the cabin) and I don't think I've ever found one more than 10' from a tree. :noidea:
I guess maybe they didn't reach a size big enough to pupate and had stripped the tree clean and were looking for food?

These two were planted w/in a feet feet of daddy's shop. And yes, this happened after the leaves were eaten...

I have a wiggler bed, they get watered daily, all our veggie scraps, an occasional bad bagel, and it has a bird feeder over it so they get a constant shower of seeds dropped, bird poo and other droppings. I fill a container to go fishing and put back whats left.

I don't know if it would ever be worth drive, but we constantly dump rat bedding/snake bedding at the edge of our creek. We've got anaconda sized worms. They're always there, too; rain or shine. Probably about 5-10 per # of dirt.
