Do you realize that if a guy is mumbling to himself and listening for a reply from the hood of a vehicle that there is about a 100% chance he ain't right?
Whether caused by drugs or illness, psychosis is very dangerous. Psychotic/delusional people murder others every single day. And people doing such things are clearly seeing/hearing things which aren't real. Never underestimate how dangerous people like that can be.
Veteran status matters not one single little bitty whit in this instance.
