yes

But, but, but, its an automatic and a Plymouth!!!!!

In all seriousness, if you bought it, what would you do with it? Let it sit in a garage, don't put any miles on it and hopefully it will continue to go up in value, or, actually drive it around it and watch it depreciate?
there are arenas for cars like this vintage days, historical shows..Barrett Jackson..some of these guys drive them escorted around the fairgrounds in commencement parade easier to buy a running piece of history and get the reserve off on most auctions

does it run? barbeque in the wires?
It's a typical Brit beast. It runs like a raped ape on the highway. Then you stop at a red light and it chokes down on you. And if you don't drive it everyday it's harder to start than an early 70s Mopar. It's just frustrating cause we've thrown all kinds of parts at it including a $250.00 vacuum advance for the distributor. So it's like we're so close to figuring it out and yet so far.
And when I ask any mechanics about working on it the universal answer is " Hell no! Don't bring that damn thing here!"

Yeah it seems you can stick a small block Chevy in anything. The 3.9 aluminum V8 that's in it now is a GM design from the 60s that River wound up with.
If I could do a V8 conversion in anytr I'd want a 5.0 Ford in an old Volvo 242 or maybe a 240 wagon.
