They are. Back in the WW2 GI’s used to make there own out of downed planes windows. They would put pinups or pictures of their wives or girlfriends under them. Called them sweetheart grips. I like having my sweetheart on the palm side of mine and the opposite side clear so I can see how many rounds I have at a glance if I need to.
