Worst book you had to read in school?

I honestly don't remember many books I read in middle/high school. But I can tell you reading these econometrics papers in college is starting to get pretty ******** old.

We read the short story, "The most dangerous game". Awesome read. When we put my now 15 year old in to first grade one of the stories the class read was called "The earth and I are friends". New Age nonsense. We pulled him out days after that and home-schooled him for the next 8 years. lol

The grapes of wrath

Only book I ended up watching the movie instead of finishing.

Oh yeah-

That one was long, and stupid...

Anyone have to read Beowulf? I thought that was a stinker also.

Not nearly on the level of that damn Foucalt's pendulum, but pretty much as awful as Dante's inferno.

-Yuck!

'Low-molecular-weight protein fractionation for biomarker discovery'. But only second to 'Idiopathic fascicular left ventricular tachycardia, the European study'.

Now I just ride motorcycles, horses and set things on fire.Well, of course only second to shooting things at very long distances and drinking plenty of beer.
lol! :faint:

In grad school we had to read "An Inconvenient Truth" by Algore.

I would rather masturbate to a video Barney Frank taking a dump than read that again.
