Visually, I like the A2. What are you going for? Lightweight build? Depends on your purpose.

I really /want/ to like the other one for its simplicity - kinda like the stock of a Sten SMG - but it just doesn't look /right/ to me on the AR.

The A2 makes her look like a battle rifle. That Wolf upper is kinda sexy.

I feel 100% the way you do! I really want to like the smoke composites on it more then the A2 but I secretly don't....

And then on the flip I like the short stock on my A2 clone.....
