When will you be planting your food plots?

Ours is already shot up to about 3". We have wheat, oats, clover, turnips, and radishes. Some ploys have all of it in it some only specific seed. The one I planted heavy in crimson clover is looking great as of Sunday.
 
If you have clods would re-harrow the entire plot until the clods are gone...

just a simple suggestion to strongly consider...
I usually will use a turning plow in mid to late August and harrow well in September just prior to planting. I don't know but I was always told to bush hog, then turn, then harrow but be sure to give sufficient time after you turn to let the roots from the grass and weeds you've turned to dry out and die. Beats the the expense of having to apply a lot of herbicide

This is about right. This has me in its sights. If my plots flood, I will have to start over.
