When one turbo just simply won't do!

Using synthetic oil and idling the motor for 30 to 60 seconds before shutdown will usually extend the life of the turbos. I never shutdown after using full boost without staying off boost for a few minutes. I just take it easy when I am getting close to a destinatio.pn
correct: even light driving before shutting down is usually sufficient to cool the rotor down and definitely extends the life. I have 268K miles on my F250 no turbo issues.

I've posted this before...Mack trucks state "idle engine 3 minuets prior to shut down", right by the kill rod
from what I recently read, the Toyota's use both oil & water to cool, and the water part is done engine on, or off....at least, that's what I believe I understood....I'm trying to make myself believe that buying a turbo car will be o.k....
