Ive got a 16" remington 700 in 308, timney trigger, leupold VXiii, and a specwar in purgatory.

Maybe if eFiles comes back on line in time, I can have it for deer season this year. If not, it will definitely see some hog action at some point

I plan on using 2 different firearms this season A Remington 700 in .308 using my custom load subsonic rounds at 1006 FPS with a Gemtech Sandstorm Can and a Custom 6.5 Creedmoor with subtonics and the same Can.

I wear Peltor muffs while hunting, and highly recommend them to everyone. I hear everything much better....wings, quacks, footsteps...., and the gun going off is brought to an acceptable level.

Trying to work up subsonic loads that will group from an 8" 1x8 twist barrel. Same rounds that group well in a 16' barrel are not working from my 8" barrel. Coolest thing on this rifle is a 2 1/2 lb Hyper Touch trigger.
