Because if they are stopped they can claim squirrel hunting. I know a guy that hunts year round and uses 22 and an old Cadillac. Plus it works well if you can shoot.

Haven't seen too many 45acp dropped deer. Guess your right though, it should be enough.

During Nebraska's unlimited doe season in January, I used the HK Tactical with Remington Golden Sabers in 185gr. +P with some fantastic results. I limited shots to under 50 yards, and killed 10+ over a 5 year time.
