What are you carrying?

Oh, wait:

I forgot.... this is ODT. We gotta be badass operators here... OK well I really carry a high-capacity nine with three extra mags, a fighting knife, back up gun in my ankle holster, and I wear concealable body armor NIJ rated level 5+ ( stops depleted uranium rounds from a 30 mm rotary barreled cannon).

Who pooped in your panties this morning?

sheep dog sheep dog honestly, the dot is what sold me on the gun. I shoot it at least as fast and as accurately as a full size 1911. I was a single stack and 2011 shooter in matches for years, so that's really saying something. This sig, while I don't love it like I do 1911s, has replaced my Baer for carry. 2x the ammo, thinner, lighter, etc. hard to beat.

I also really like the light. I've had good luck with TRLs for years and they are on my full size HD guns, even rifles. this little thing is bright as heck (500+ lumens I believe) and one CR123. It's also got a quick on/off lock out. I don't usually carry with a light since I have young kids and we're home by dark, but with the winter I'll be out later and wanted the option to carry with it, or just slap it on when traveling.

If you want I'd be happy to go to a local range with you and let you shoot the holosun on my sig. I have a bigger holosun on my glock 17 PDW build and love them both.
Great feedback. I’m picking one up today with same dot. Look forward to it

Have you shot with a dot before?

If so, ignore me. But if not, check out the Sage Dynamics videos on it. Then get it dialed in with your preferred zero. Then, and this is the most important part... Dryfire for a few minutes every day for a while. A lightbulb will go off in your head and you will see it floating on the target. Keep practicing until that's natural.

Also check out Magguts. they add 2 rounds to the 10 and 12 round mags, bringing it to basically glock 19 territory. Hard to argue.
