Thanks to Jholdbrooks Jholdbrooks for giving everyone a quick update. I try to as much as possible. We're still in hospital and they tell us to expect atleast a week this time. Ally had to be put to sleep yesterday for lumbar puncture and spinal chemo. She had to get a bag of platelets which makes her blood clot up because she was bleeding very badly from her port. Finally, the platelets stopped the bleeding but she lost so much blood that she had to get a blood transfusion before they were able to do I-V chemo last night. She also spiked a fever of 102 that took a couple of hours to get under control but she is feeling better now. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for our little Ally!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Ally. She just got out of the hospital again yesterday. She spent 8 days this time. Unfortunately, she got another infection in her blood stream. She just doesn't have much of an immune system so it is very hard to keep her from getting sick. They done surgery last Friday to remove the port they put in her chest that was supposed to be in her until treatment was over two years from now but they were afraid some infection was in the port so they took it out. They have her on very strong antibiotics clearing her body of any infection and next Friday they will put her to sleep and put another port in so they can do chemo. She hasn't been able to get chemo since Aug. 19 because of this infection and also because her numbers have been so low that her body just couldn't handle it. We are just glad to be home for a few days. In almost 4 months, we have been in the hospital more than we have been home so home is heaven these days. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers. We appreciate it so much!
