He had a massive stroke yesterday evening. Outlook is not good at all. Operating is almost certain to kill him.

I may be profane and backslid worse than anyone you ever met but I have witnessed the power of prayer and I believe when two more ask for guidance and mercy it can prove miraculous. I wish I could say I was hopeful but the prognosis is poor.

Ask Him for comfort and mercy for my dad.

ETA 25 Feb 2024, the damage to his brain is intense and the amount of blood inside the cavity is not receding. Without artificial support he will pass away. I'm planning to make that decision on Tuesday and I've told the doctor I need a few days to notify some folks.

I appreciate everyone's well wishes and prayers. It's a "big ol' shyte sandwich" but I feel like I don't have to eat it by myself due to you all.

Keep him on your prayer list for a few days please.
