The axe is 11 ounces heavier but an inch longer and I LOVE, LOVE, the double bit. The price is the same either way so it's just style and weight to consider really.

Where did you order from? The HD near me has the long and short camp ax, but neither the double bit or hawk. Only place I've ever seen them is the Estwing web site and they don't seem to invite direct purchase.
