Folks, I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that the jury went into deliberation yesterday at about 3:30 pm. They broke for the night at about 5:45 pm and started back at about 9 am this morning. They asked to see the H&K P7 some time around 10 am and had it for about 20 minutes.

At around 11:45 am today the jury declared that they had determined that she is guilty on all counts. Murder (with malice), Felony Murder (based on Aggravated Assault)(does not require malice) and Aggravated Assault.

When the jury read their verdict, she showed absolutely emotion and did not react in any way.

She is due to be sentenced on August 20th. It is presumed that she will get life or close to it.

While I never want to wish ill will on anyone I kind of hopes she gets life without and rots in a cell somewhere. Murder is murder but when a small child is immensely affected its just heartbreaking.
