I had a ‘54 Merc when I was a kid. The old automatics had no safety lockouts, I could shift from
drive to reverse at any speed, punch it, and burn that right rear tire up. Loved to catch someone walking down the street, shift into neutral, coast up beside them, then shift into reverse and floor it. Scare the crap out of them.
Must have blown a half dozen rear u-joints playing that game.

For all the new guys out there, this is why no one wants to do business with you, so do y’all selves a favor and learn how to use ODT and compose a proper message. You just might find yourself having more success with experienced traders.

While we're complaining, will add the art of negotiating has been lost by so many on here.

If I have something listed and get a PM offer, I'll usually counter offer. However the other guy never responds basically 100% of the time. At least he could say "no thanks" or maybe make another offer.

Guess they are fishing and throwing out low-balls in a lot of ads, to see if they get any takers and then quickly move on.
