They lack common sense and know nothing about the natural resources they’re sworn to protect. All they know is law. Basically a cop in green jeans.
This is false. They do actually know a lot about resource management and protection as it’s part of the required training. The issue is we have one LEO for every two counties here in Georgia. That’s a lot of ground to be covering. Those guys are underpaid compared to police and work a lot harder than other LEO’s. NPS guys have it a bit better with resources but the big issues in this state are lack of public education like we used to have which included interactions with LEO’s and lack of LEO’s in general.
