I revisited the Sagamore Cask Strength and the Sagamore Sherry Finish again last night. I have to say I've changed my mind on the CS. After being open a little while, it lost some of the spiciness that I wasnt fond of. It still has some spice to it, but it's not as overpowering as it was when I first cracked the bottle. Now I'm not sure which bottle I Iike better between the two. They are both very good. I'm not sure I'd buy the Sherry Finish again simply because of the price difference. I don't think it is that much better than the Cask and it's definitely not better than the Double Oak which I can also get cheaper.

Downtown Social in Valdosta. They have a "bartender picks the flight" for $32. He let me pick 2 and he picked one. They have Weller 12, Blanton's, Jefferson's and others. I picked Stagg and EHT. He picked Willet.

Saw this at Costco. I’ve read that it’s fewer in production even compared to pappy.

Anyone tried this?

I've actually got a sample of the 18 from back when I sold it. Any body near Athens want a sample hit me up.

Willet was actually my least favorite. I asked how much just a pour was of Stagg and he said $40.
He did call this "the mother of all flights" and I told him it guaranteed that I'd come back next time I'm in Valdosta, along with a good tip.
