Rye Whisky from Alberta Distillery. At one point it was the oldest rye available. I’m surprised they have any left. That was released 2 or 3 years ago. It was imported by Cooper Spirits Int’l, the same company that made Crème Yvette, Slow & Low and the guys who started St Germain (before they sold it for a boatload of cash). The owner Jeff Cooper died a few years ago suddenly. Costco probably bought out the distributors whole stash on closeout. 339 is under cost.Saw this at Costco. I’ve read that it’s fewer in production even compared to pappy.
Anyone tried this?
For once here’s a decently written article about the whiskey:Saw this at Costco. I’ve read that it’s fewer in production even compared to pappy.

Comes out in NovemberJust curious if anyone has seen a Pappy 15yr in the wild recently. From what I understand, they get released by the distributers to certain shops about this time of the year. Trying to see if one can be found in the metro area without breaking the bank.
I love that one. I think it needs a little time to breathe though. Had a sharpness or a bite to it when I first opened it that I didn't care for, but that went away after a little time. Thought the flavor was great.Gonna crack this one open tomorrow night.

Anyone tried it? What did you think?
Love it. The price edged up after their double oak won an award. But it’s better than the Calumet 10 year I had, and at 1/3 to 1/2 the price.Gonna crack this one open tomorrow night.
