It means you are shooting a one minute of angle sized target at 1000 yards, aka a 10 inch target.

One moa at 100 is 1", one moa at 500 is 5", so on and so forth. MOA is a unit of angular measurement.

Yep, the further you go, the bigger one minute gets. Imagine a slice of a pie that extends from your feet (at the small end) to infinity. The further away, the bigger it gets.

Typical PRS centerfire rifle or F Class rifle should be able to hit 1 MOA targets through 1000. Biggest issue is reading wind for the first shot. Cool Acres regularly has a "Know Your Limit" style stage at 994 yards with decreasing size targets (no, not a real KYL stage).

I want to say, I dont think .338LM has been used. I think the suppressor the guy used was a .338LM.
