Talk about a rough day and man it's hard saying goodbye. Now mom in the hospital

I just got off the phone with the ER at the hospital and found out they kept my mom and she's in IMCU now. I've been trying to get ahold of my brother that was supposed to be there and let me know if anything happened but I can't even get ahold of him. I tried calling my other POS brothers to try and let them know what's going on and one just answered and then gung and I tried calling back and now he turned his phone off. The other one isn't answering his phone and I'm sure either him or his POS wife are screening the call's.
Thanks everyone. I'm up at the hospital now getting a status update on her situation.
I know they are having problems getting her blood sugar to stay up and level. They keep giving her IV's with stuff in it but it goes up and then drops way back down.

Sorry for the loss of your buddy. Saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do, I cry like a baby every time.
Ok here's an update on my mom. They were having some issues trying to get her blood sugar to come up and stabilize since last night and me and my wife Lisa were there this most of this morning and they have been working on the problem with IV's with glucose and then some other stuff which I can't remember what they said it was.
They had gotten her blood sugar up to around 50 or 51 after a few IV then it went back down again. They then gave her another one with something in it and it brought her blood sugar up 71 and they are hoping it will start stabilizing. They are going to keep working on it and they want her to keep drinking stuff that is sweet lime milkshakes, sodas, sweet tea and eating stuff with sugar in it until they tell her to stop.
We are hoping and praying they can get this taken care of and get straight and her sugar levels increase and maintain where they need to be at. They are going to keep her for a couple of day's just to make sure everything is good to go and her sugar stabilizes.

Ghost, we're praying for all of you. You've got your sweet mom where she needs to be. Some of her problems may well have been caused by the UTI, and the hospital will get that sorted out. Although, with my MIL, it took an urologist putting her on a long term antibiotic to finally end a vicious circle of utis. But, right now you folks just need to get through this mess. Get some rest and proper food. You and your wife need to keep up your strength so you can look after each other and your mom. God bless.

Thanks we appreciate all the prayers and the support. We have been through some rough times before when both her parent's passed and then when my father passed and when she had to put down my dog Trevor while I was in Afghanistan. It's just hard right now due to us having to put Sig down yesterday and then last night this mess popped off with my mother. She is getting up there in age and she does have some problems time from time and that's why we moved out here across the street from her so that we could watch after her and help her when she needs it.
I'm glad I have a group of good people on here I know I can talk with and that will listen to me and not just say this or that and move on. They really listen and talk with you. It's good to hear that ya'll were able to get a specialist to come in and take over and deal with the issue and not just look at the problem and just throw a band aid on it.
To loose the unconditional love of a dog, is truly a great lose. With all the issues you have going on right now, I hope you have some type of a release. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. GOD be with you brother.
