Not sure I'd try to go completely sub with 30-06 even with a bulky powder. 20-24 grains of SR 4759 with a 150 gr bullet should get you somewhere around 1,600-1,900 fps at or near mean sea level. Your felt recoil will be nil and you'll have plenty of practice dialing dope for drop at 100 yards.
