The story goes:
The rifle re-appeared, in a case my friend didn't own, in a location he never kept his firearms. It was on top of a cabinet and not immediately visible. Two people had been in the house, pre Covid, looking for the rifle in all the usual locations to no avail for a week or two. All of a sudden things looked kind of out of place on the cabinet and "lo and behold" there it was. Odd in the fact no one else has access to the house. None the less guess the pressure got to whom ever and it came back home. Sorry for the delay in getting the story posted. Never got notification anyone had responded. No heir other than spouse.
