Dang that serial number would make it a 1952 model 70.. Sold to a E.H. Scott in Silver springs Mo.
going to be tough to sell that one to a collector.. depending upon condition it can be pretty darn expensive..

If it was the son who got it, maybe he just wanted his momma’s gun. Was there a will stating your dad got it?

I’ve still got my dads rifle and shotgun in my safe, that I the executor told my brother he could have and he also told me he wanted. But is too lazy to make the drive from Oklahoma to get them. He is retired military and retired PMC and has become very lazy. So I’m on the opposite side of it, I can’t get em to take what they want!!!!!!
