I finally switched to an LCP and carry it in the small pocket intended for a wallet in Nike Dri fit compression shorts. Even something this small causes considerable irritation after 6-8 miles.

Have you considered downsizing? A Ruger LCP or Kel-Tec will fit into one of those runner's belts easily, and they are not obvious. BTW, Thunderware is OK for walking around, but I wouldn't run with one.

A G19/23 is a whole lotta gun to run concealed with. Even an all steel Smith & Wesson model 60 snubby beat me to death while running within a mile. I didn't want to pack a mouse gun and picked up a used Ruger LCR here on ODT. In a fanny pack in front and balanced it doesn't painfully remind it's there with every step while running. Your main two considerations after cailber/ammo are weight and weight.
